Head of Nursery
(TO START JANUARY 2020)
Due to the retirement of our current Head of Nursery, we are looking to appoint another caring, enthusiastic and inspirational Nursery teacher to take over the reins.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our dedicated team in providing outstanding learning opportunities in an engaging, nurturing and creative learning environment. They will plan exciting opportunities for continuous provision and for activities that develop every child as an individual, providing them with the best possible start to their learning journey at Hazlegrove.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be confident forming good relationships with children, parents and other members of staff. The ability to work as a team, be organised, well-presented and have a good sense of humour is essential.
Desirable – understanding and experience in using Tapestry to observe, track and report on the progress of individuals and cohorts to a range of audiences.

Hazlegrove is a thriving South West Co-Educational Prep School. Pupil roll is around 380 with 100 full boarders. Based around an 18th century house and set in 200 acres of parkland, the school enjoys outstanding facilities. Around 30 staff live on site.
