Following a restructure of the Senior Leadership Team, Aloha College Marbella is advertising for a highly-qualified leader to take on the role of Head of Pastoral. This is a permanent, full-time position .

We are seeking an outstanding and imaginative pastoral leader who will foster and advance the distinctive ethos and culture of Aloha College Marbella, through the leadership and support of pupil welfare and behaviour in the broadest possible way. The development of our pastoral care system as part of the school’s new strategic plan offers a unique opportunity to realise the strategic aims and vision of the School. 

The successful candidate will be a leader of the authority, compassion and understanding, who will command the respect of staff, and will wear that authority lightly and intelligently, fostering curiosity, kindness and confidence in both the pupils and staff. 

The Head of Pastoral will report directly to the Principal and work closely with other members of the senior leadership team.

The Head of Pastoral will:

• Be responsible for the well-being and excellent behaviour of our pupils, founded on a strong sense of community and individual need.

• Line manage the Pastoral team.

• Develop the structure, content and delivery of the pastoral care system at Aloha College Marbella.

• Promote through example and encouragement the highest standards of education

• Ensure the highest possible standards of safeguarding.

• Be bilingual English-Spanish.

A creative and open-minded approach is essential to develop structures and processes to deliver the pastoral excellence as a key element of the school’s vision and character.
