Bishopshalt is an established, successful and oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with 1300 on roll including a Sixth Form of 350+. The school is situated in outstandingly attractive grounds in a conservation area on the edge of London and achieves examination results well in excess of local and national averages. We also hold national accreditations in a number of other areas including Sportsmark, SSAT, Religious Studies. Ofsted have judged us to be a “Good” school in inspection reports 2012, 2016 and mostly recently in November 2021.

Required for January 2023, we are seeking to appoint well-qualified, dynamic, highly motivated, committed professional with the ambition and drive necessary for the leadership skills this position will entail. The successful candidate will need a minimum of two years or more experience. 

You will need to be an outstanding practitioner with a proven record of success at both Key Stage 4 and 5 as PE is a very popular choice at both GCSE & A Level.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and visionary team of professionals and will need to:

Bishopshalt School is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Uxbridge, Middlesex, and has about 1,300 pupils.

The school was established as Uxbridge County School in the Greenway in 1907. The former grammar school became a comprehensive school In 1977. It is now operated by the school’s academy trust.
