Job overview

This exciting opportunity to lead our highly successful performing arts faculty arises due to the promotion of the current postholder.  Performing arts are popular subjects at Stantonbury School and have a strong curriculum presence across all key stages.  There is also a thriving extra-curricular programme that we wish to enhance further.  The successful candidate will work with the head of music and head of media studies to lead provision in all performing arts subjects and will be required to lead drama and dance in particular.  There is a great team of talented teachers to work with and amazing students to inspire in and out of the classroom.  Teaching facilities are good and include a commercial theatre on site.

Stantonbury School is now part of the Tove Learning Trust and is on a rapid journey of improvement.  Performing Arts is a central part of our curriculum and the postholder will have a big influence on our future direction and success.

For an informal conversation about this role please contact Jim Parker, Executive Principal through the school email address.
