A well-qualified PE specialist is required to play a key role in this very successful Prep School.

Latymer Prep school is adjacent to the River Thames in Hammersmith. Our school has about 160 pupils and we share our facilities with Latymer Upper School; the two schools have excellent sports facilities, including playing fields in Shepherds Bush and a new £14.5 million on-site Sports Centre.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for organising and developing PE and Games provision at the school. You will lead by example by having high-level coaching and training qualification, and also be responsible for organising fixtures and promoting sport across the school. 

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who will possess good organisational skills and will take responsibility for teachers working within their department. In addition, the post carries responsibility for managing the school’s extracurricular programme. We offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities, and timetabling these after-school activities and monitoring pupil participation is an important aspect of the post. Administrative support in this aspect of the role is provided.

Willingness and ability to teach some periods of geography or history – under the guidance of the respective subject leaders – to Year 3 would be an advantage, as would experience as a form tutor.
