PE is an important aspect of the school curriculum and allows for a wide range of enrichment, leadership and teamwork experiences for all of our year groups and all of our students.

Standards in PE at KS4 are not strong enough and a key aspect of this role is to raise standards in PE at GCSE level. The successful candidate will also need to raise the profile of PE throughout the school and in the local area and promote an active extra-curricular activities programme for PE.

The new Head of PE will receive support and guidance through their Senior Leadership Link person and all relevant training and professional development will be offered to the successful candidate
