The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle has a growth plan for Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust to serve South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham, with a total of 34 schools in the Trust by July 2022.

Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust was established in February 2016, currently there are thirteen schools within the Trust of which five are secondary schools.

St. Wilfrid’s RC College is an OFSTED rated outstanding school with world class status and is seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to the post of Head of Physics to join us from September 2021. Our impressive Science facilities are housed within a recently built £3.4 million specialist STEM block within the school. We are committed to professional development within our friendly and high performing community. Salary: Band 1 – Band 3 & TLR 2c (an R&R will be considered for the right candidate)

Start Date: September 2021

Contract: Whole time, permanent
