Head of Physics

Chase Terrace Technology College is a successful, forward-looking 11-18 school. We are a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted, Jan ‘15), and has a strong achievement profile in our science courses.  As a school, there is a strong belief in supporting each other and working together for continuous improvement. We are an inclusive and cohesive community with a strong sense of collective ambition. The Science team is well supported by 2 technicians and has 9 labs, each equipped with interactive whiteboards. There is excellent access to technology and equipment for delivery of an exciting science curriculum from KS3 – 5

We are an ambitious department and are looking for a new Head of Physics to join the team.  You will need to be:

• a highly effective teacher
• creative, resourceful and open to new ideas
• a team player with good leadership skills / potential
• able to teach Physics through the age and ability range
