Head of Physics

Urmston Grammar is a high-performing co-educational 11 - 18 selective school, judged OUTSTANDING in our last OFSTED inspection. We have a reputation as a forward-thinking, dynamic learning community and a leader in education. We have received national recognition for our work as a Science and Language college and in September 2010 we became a converter academy.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated professional to the role of Head of Physics for September 2020. Candidates must have a passion for Physics and a proven track record of student success.

This post provides an exciting opportunity to work with highly motivated students and lead a successful department. The Physics department delivers high-quality teaching and learning in well-resourced laboratories and through a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
