The Role

The school is looking to employ a dynamic and inspirational member of staff who will lead by example, develop and motivate their team and be committed to achieving high standards, as Head of Physics. The candidate will be responsible to the Head of Science and with their support the successful candidate will be looking to enable students to achieve outstanding results, not only in Physics but, across the Sciences. This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is now looking for new challenges, or promotion, in an oversubscribed, supportive and successful Academy.

Requirements

You should be an outstanding classroom practitioner and have true passion and enthusiasm for your specialism. You should be capable of teaching Science across the full age and ability range from Years 7-11 and your specialism at KS5 level. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be committed to improving your own, and others, practice. It is preferred that candidates have previous experience in a position of responsibility, or be able to demonstrate a proven record of achievement and experience.

The successful candidate will have an unwavering belief in the potential of every child and will be motivated to help all students to achieve their full potential.
