Working at Harrow is a delight.  The pupils are engaged, aspirational and hard working, their parents are highly supportive and the staff are committed and close-knit.  The community is strong.  Pupils achieve highly both within and outside of the classroom and go on to enter many of the world's most competitive universities, including Oxbridge.

The successful candidate can expect a generous salary, a performance-related bonus, accommodation, medical and flight benefits and an unusual 100% tuition fees remission for up to two dependents (50% for any further children thereafter).

As with the other Harrow Schools, Shanghai’s vision, 'Leadership for a better world', is realised by means of a characteristically Harrow approach to schooling which demands of students and teachers high academic attainment, involvement in a rich array of extra-curricular activities, and engagement in high quality pastoral support structures, particularly the House system. Students are assigned into Houses where their which their academic and all-round well-being is monitored, nurtured and supported.
