They will work closely with Senior School leadership to create a joined up, cohesive curriculum throughout the College, raising teaching and learning standards and upholding the values and ethos of the College at all times.

The successful candidate will have extensive senior management experience in a comparable environment, with the demonstrable ability to translate strategic vision into sustainable operational change. They will bring experience of proactive and successful change management and a strong understanding of current educational developments affecting the whole primary age range. The next Head of Prep will have a clear educational philosophy, underpinned at all times by a focus on the happiness of the child, and the gravitas to command the respect of pupils, parents, and staff through excellent communication. They will have an understanding of what excellence looks like in teaching and learning, and how to foster excellent teaching to raise academic standards. Experience of working in an all-through school setting is desirable, though not required.
