The Prep School is a happy and inspiring community educating up to 200 children aged 3-11 years old. It offers a bespoke integrated curriculum and is an exciting place of learning, with a deeply entrenched culture of pastoral care as well as an enviable Enrichment Programme.
It is a new and exciting era for Ipswich High School as we embark on the implementation of coeducation via the Diamond Model. The new Head of the Prep School will be fundamental to the execution and development of this approach.
The school is seeking to appoint a visionary Prep School leader who can inspire staff and pupils alike. They will be replacing Mrs Fisher who has successfully led the Prep School for almost 10 years and is now moving on to a new challenge overseas.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and hard-working with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of developing successful and innovative teaching and learning strategies. A motivational and charismatic leader, they must be able to represent the Prep School and play a key role on the school’s Senior Leadership Team, being heavily involved in whole school decision making.
