Applications are invited for the post of Head of the Preparatory School with effect from September 2017.
The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to build on the success and standing of our Preparatory School. The successful candidate will embrace our School’s ethos, be able to articulate their vision for the Preparatory School to parents, staff and pupils and have experience at deputy head, head or other senior management level.
Set in 100 acres of the historic grounds of the Claremont Estate, the School offers a first rate education and pastoral care to 770 girls and boys across three Schools: Pre-Preparatory and Nursery, Preparatory School and Senior School. Claremont Fan Court promotes an atmosphere of respect, courtesy, a love of learning and the value of friendship. Soon to embark on a building programme that will extend and refurbish the Preparatory School, we are looking for a leader to share a vision of excellence.

Claremont Fan Court School is a thriving, successful co-educational day school for pupils from 2 1/2-18 years. It is situated just outside Esher, Surrey, only 16 miles from London and is set in 96 acres of historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate.
The School consists of the Pre-Preparatory and Nursery School for pupils aged 3-7 years, the Preparatory School for pupils 7-10 years, and the Senior School for pupils from 11-18 years, each with its own Head.
