BSB is at an exciting stage of its development, having grown very significantly in the past decade and now numbering approximately 600 students aged 1-11. About the role

Resilient, organised and entrepreneurial, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Primary school. We’ll look to you to provide effective leadership and advice to staff, students and parents while inspiring an atmosphere of energy, excitement and achievement. You will also be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team

About you

A strong communicator, you will possess significant teaching and school management experience. Your proven leadership and people management skills together with your knowledge of the English National Curriculum and curriculum developments will enable you to establish a high-performing culture within the school.

Confident in a complex and fast-paced international environment, you will have the ability to design, implement and review organisational policies and new initiatives and grow and develop team members. You will relish the chance to work collaboratively with colleagues in the central team, the region and across the organisation.

A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for China, including bachelor’s degree.

Selection Process

The closing date for application is Friday 26th March 2021.  Due to global travel restrictions, all interviews will be conducted via MS Teams/Video Call. There will be three stages of interview, including a panel interview.  

Start Date: August 2021

As the only British International School in downtown Beijing, we are well placed within the leafy embassy district and as a result deliver a British based curriculum to students from over fifty nationalities. Our school has two campuses which are a few minutes’ walk from each other; the Early Years Campus which is especially for our Pre Nursery and Nursery students and the Primary campus at which students aged five to eleven attend. We provide a family oriented atmosphere in which parents can be certain that their children are being cared for and supported in all aspects of their learning.
