The British International School of Casablanca is a new all through school located just outside the thriving and bustling financial and business centre of Morocco. The school opened its primary section in September 2017 and in September 2018 it will open its secondary school. The school recently became a member of COBIS five months after opening its doors to students. Over the next few years the school expects numbers to steadily grow to 1000 students from EYFS up to Year 13. The facilities at the school are excellent and include purpose built classrooms, a theatre, an indoor swimming pool, two sports halls, and a three floor library.  

At BISC we offer a warm, pleasant working environment with various professional development opportunities. The teaching staff are mainly from the UK. The successful applicant will become part of a highly professional, international and amicable team.  

We are looking for a Headteacher of the Primary School. The Primary School opened in September 2017. The school currently has 130 students on role and the numbers are anticipated to increase over the coming years. The profile of the student is international with currently fourteen nationalities represented. We are looking for a UK qualified teacher with leadership experience at either Assistant Head or Deputy Head/Headteacher level at a Cambridge curriculum Primary School either in the UK or overseas to lead the Primary School during its next phase of development. This is an exciting and challenging role which will offer the right candidate the opportunity to shape the growth of a new school.  .

About British International School Casablanca

The British International School of Casablanca (commonly abbreviated to BISC) is located in the city of Casablanca, Morocco. The school occupies a 4.2-acre site in the city, and is able to boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities, including a semi-olympic swimming pool, an open-air theatre, an amphitheater, numerous modern classrooms and Science labs and sports fields. The school itself has a capacity for around 1500 students in a co-educational setting. As a British school, BISC follows the Cambridge curriculum, with students being organised by key stages, starting at Early Years Foundation Stage at age 3 and going up to age 18 in Key Stage 5. The school offers iGCSE programmes and the A level with numerous subject choices available for students.
