Children’s International School (CIS) is the leading international school in Lagos, Nigeria, offering a British based curriculum to students across the primary and secondary phases. Founded in 2003, the school moved recently into purpose-built accommodation on the Lekki Peninsula, a short distance from the lively hub of Victoria Island, the main commercial district of Lagos. The school has an overall student population of around 650 with 380 students in the primary phase. CIS has a strong reputation both locally and internationally and is accredited both by COBIS and as an international school with BSO status.

CIS is seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic practitioner to head the primary section of the school (EYFS to Year 6) who would take up the post in August 2021. The school is well known for being forward thinking and innovative and will welcome applications from senior leaders with broad curricular experience, the ability to lead and motivate, an interest in staff training and development and a collaborative approach to school life. A keen sense of internationalism and sensitivity to different cultural backgrounds will also be key attributes.
