The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of Primary Phase due to the resignation of our current Head who is moving onto a new challenge. They seek to appoint a Head of Primary who is committed to delivering a high quality education to all regardless of prior ability, social background or previous educational experience.
Whilst providing leadership of the Primary Phase the new Head should relish the many opportunities that will exist to collaborate with others and to work in full partnership with our Principal & CEO. The Head has full autonomy to lead the Primary Phase coupled with the support and encouragement of the Principal and CEO, and Leadership Teams.
Alec Reed Primary Phase is a three form entry school with over 600 children from the ages of 3-11, situated in Northolt, Ealing and with a £4.5m new build for Nursery, Reception and Year 1 which includes an additional Hall, outdoor learning and play areas and a grass pitch. The all-through structure of the Academy allows for central management of all support services and facilities, freeing up the Leadership Team to focus on learning and teaching, raising attainment whilst enjoying considerable delegated autonomy.
The school is known to be a happy, well organised, school where members of staff who work here, form a dedicated team. Our staff team is our greatest resource and the continuous professional development of all staff is a priority across the Academy. The combination of passionate and talented teaching and support staff and excellent facilities create an enviable learning environment, where traditional values, contemporary aspirations and creative curiosity underpin our pursuit of excellence.
Professional development and clear lines of responsibilities have generated a high-performance and high-ambition culture amongst the staff. The Academy is outer London but with Inner London pay and offers Teachers Pension, extensive free on-site parking, free use of the gym, subsidised meals and family friendly policies.
