The British international School Kuala Lumpur is looking to recruit a Head of Primary PE and Sport. 
To drive excellent teaching and learning in the subject of PE.  

The role: 
As the Head of Primary PE and Sport, you will: 

  • Lead and oversee the PE curriculum across EYFS and Primary, ensuring progression, quality, and breadth.
  • Manage and support a team of teachers and assistant teachers, driving professional growth and best practice in PE. 
  • Coordinate whole-school sporting events, fixtures, and festivals, raising the profile of sport across the school community. 
  • Strengthen our co-curricular and competitive sports provision, offering opportunities for all students to thrive. 
  • Work closely with the Secondary PE department to ensure continuity, progression, and a shared vision for sport and physical activity across the whole school. 
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, local sports clubs, and regional organisations, as well as engage with FOBISIA, AIMS, and other external competitions to provide outstanding opportunities for our students. 
  • Contribute to whole-school strategy, embedding PE and well-being into the wider learning experience. 

We are looking for a qualified and experienced PE professional with proven leadership skills, a clear vision for Primary PE and Sport, and the ability to inspire both colleagues and students.
