About the school:
Traill International School has recently celebrated its golden jubilee, thus making it one of the most established schools in Thailand. One of the main characteristics of the school is the homely and supportive atmosphere for both students and staff: we believe that students can only excel when in a supportive and safe environment. We are fully accredited by Education Development Trust (EDT), British Schools Overseas (BSO) and Sor Mor Sor (Department of Education in Thailand), and are members of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA), Bangkok International Schools Activities Conference (BISAC) and Thailand International Schools Activities Conference (TISAC).
We have students from KG up to Year 13 and we teach the National Curriculum leading to IGCSEs and A-Levels. Students leave the school to take up university places throughout the world, including the UK and US. Our examination results are above the national average in the UK and are better than most comparable international schools. Most of the students are either Thai or Japanese and we have a large ESL department to provide the language support which may be needed.
Class sizes are small with an average teacher:student ratio of 6:1.The students are well-behaved, resulting in a really enjoyable teaching experience for the teachers.
