An exciting and unique opportunity has now arisen at Atam Academy, a Sikh Faith All-through Academy serving a diverse community in Redbridge. Our school community is looking for an inspiring primary leader who has the vision, passion and drive to ensure our Primary Phase continues on its journey to outstanding and thrives as an inclusive and aspirational learning community. Since we opened in 2016, we have achieved outstanding pupil outcomes and we are proud of our children and our staff who are dedicated and committed to excellence.

Our Head of Primary will:

• be supportive of our Sikh ethos and ideally have a desire to live and share faith through their work
• be a strategic and creative thinker with the drive and enthusiasm to continue to promote the highest quality of teaching and learning across the school
• have a strong and proven commitment to school improvement and a clear determination to achieve educational excellence and promote inclusion and diversity
• be an excellent communicator who works inclusively with all staff, governors, pupils, parents and the wider community committed to the Sikh ethos of the school
• have high standards and expectations and a commitment to maintain and develop these through continuous school improvement be forward thinking in this new and evolving educational landscape
