Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an innovative and inspirational careers professional to lead and develop our careers provision, ensuring our students are informed, excited and prepared in this area of change and innovation. This is a key role with responsibility for the strategic leadership of the School’s Careers Advisory Service.
This post would suit either a teacher, who would be allocated a generous timetable allowance for this role alongside their subject teaching, or a careers professional, as a three-day-a week role working during the school term time. The successful candidate will have a background of careers advisory work within the higher or further education sectors or, ideally, within schools.
The successful candidate will take up the post as soon as possible. The Head of Professional Guidance and Careers will report directly to the Head of Sixth Form and is supported by two Careers Coaches, and a Work Experience and Careers administrator.
