Bournemouth Collegiate School is a rapidly growing co-educational independent school situated on the south coast.  The School has extensive facilities, on two sites.  BCS provides a nurturing environment where the happiness of the pupils comes first.


BCS is looking for a professional and talented Head of Psychology. The ability to also teach another subject is desirable but not essential.

Th successful applicant will be expected to teach Psychology at A level.


We are looking for someone with an ability to stimulate curiosity and interest, and who is prepared to give full commitment to the aims and ethos of BCS.  We need energy, ability, positivity and a willingness to go beyond expectation.


Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to be an effective team member, they will show how they have or will contribute strategies and resources to support their colleagues and will show a thorough commitment to pupil learning. 


The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and learning, with the vision, commitment and determination to continue raising standards across all levels and abilities, and further contribute to the progress of our pupils. A desire and ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities and School events is essential.

BCS is a co-educational independent school on the south coast. The school has extensive facilities across two sites; BCS Senior (day and boarding, 11-18) is situated in excellent grounds in Southbourne, Bournemouth and BCS Prep (day, 2-11) is in spacious accommodation in Lower Parkstone, Poole. There are currently approximately 630 pupils on roll.
