We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and ambitious Head of Department. We would like to hear from passionate, kind, considerate and academically minded individuals with the enthusiasm, energy and experience to lead our highly effective team and relate to, and support, young people.
Whilst the role would suit someone with leadership experience, we are also keen to attract applicants whose experience may not, as yet, cover all aspects of the role. We will provide tailored mentoring and training to support the development of skills needed at this level.
This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to lead the School’s Psychology Department to ensure the success of every pupil at this exciting time of expansion and development. This role offers the successful candidate scope for development and career enhancement.

About Roedean School
Roedean is a mainstream, single-sex, independent school for girls aged 11-18. The School is situated to the east of Brighton, in a beautiful location on the South Downs overlooking the English Channel. There are 700 students on its roll. It is a selective school with termly fees, but scholarships and bursaries are available for girls going into Years 7, 9, and 12.
