Head of Psychology or Teacher of Psychology

The Psychology Department
Around 50 students take Psychology at IB Higher or Standard Level in the Sixth Form. Many choose a Psychology topic for their Extended Essay and several then go on each year to take Psychology or a related subject at university.
The department has a dedicated teaching area within the school with classrooms, a departmental library, digital and multimedia resources and a comprehensive dedicated psychology website.
Beyond the classroom the Psychology Society usually runs trips to London University lectures, and an annual day trip each to a former psychiatric hospital. Some other enrichment activities are student-led, and this is very much encouraged.
