The Sheffield College 

The position of Head of Quality, Teaching, Learning and Assessment will ensure that innovation and exceptional teaching, learning and assessment is at the heart of the curriculum throughout the Business and Enterprise Faculty. The Head of QTLA will be the lead within the faculty in raising standards and for driving a positive culture of high aspiration and continuous improvement within the Faculty teaching staff thereby enriching the student experience.

You will be a vital part of the Business and Enterprise Faculty Leadership team, led by the Assistant Principal - Business and Enterprise who will be your line manager.

You will also have a “dotted line” to the Assistant Principal QTLA who has the role of coordinating QTLA across college, you will also work closely with your peer Heads of QTLA in the other College faculties ensuring there is a combined approach across the college. Your role will include will include limited teaching responsibilities that ensure as practitioners you remain at the cutting edge of delivery.

The College would like to welcome applications from excellent practitioners with a recognised teaching qualification and a passion for Teaching, Learning and Assessment. You will also have successful leadership and management experience in education and a vocational background in any one of the areas within the faculty curriculum as listed above.
