Head of R.E. Faculty (Maternity Cover)

Corpus Christi Catholic College, part of the St Gregory the Great Catholic Academy Trust, are looking to appoint a Head of R.E. to join us in September 2021 covering Maternity Leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the R.E. faculty in a Good school on our journey to Outstanding, with an emphasis on promoting a culture of educational excellence, within a caring and supportive Catholic environment.

You will be able to inspire students of all abilities to achieve their highest potential; be committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching and have the ability to share your practice with others in a constructive and collaborative manner.

The successful candidate will join a committed team of specialists in a successful faculty who aim to develop and maintain students’ curiosity, interest and enjoyment of R.E. by providing inspiring lessons and stimulating learning.

• lead, develop and inspire colleagues in the R.E. faculty
• understand the needs of a diverse range of students
• raise aspirations and achievement for all
• lead on the delivery of both AQA and Eduqas qualifications at Key Stage 4
