We are seeking to recruit a talented, committed and inspiring full-time Head of Religion, Philosophy & Ethics to lead the Department and join our excellent Humanities faculty.  The successful candidate will be able to teach throughout the age range, including GCSE & A Level and a commitment to the wider education of pupils through co-curricular activities is an expectation.  This is an exciting opportunity for a professional of vision and passion who would relish the opportunity to build on our excellent RPE provision.

The county town of Shrewsbury is almost surrounded by the River Severn and is the birthplace of Charles Darwin.  It is a delightful town set in the stunning county of Shropshire with its rolling countryside, the Shropshire Hills, the wooded valley of the River Severn  and  the unique landscapes of the Meres and Mosses.

Shrewsbury High School has been educating girls in the heart of Shrewsbury since 1885, our school is literally built into the historic Town Walls.
