We are seeking to appoint for an Easter or September 2020 start, a committed and well qualified subject leader who will head a department of 4 teachers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and innovative leader who will build upon the current successes of a department which achieves excellent results across the age and ability range. We wish to appoint a teacher who has a true passion for the teaching of RS and who can also demonstrate the qualities required to lead and develop other teachers. Admission into Year 7 is offered to children of teaching staff with two or more years’ service. The post may also include the teaching of A-level Sociology.
RS is a compulsory subject to the end of Key Stage 4 with all students taking the subject to GCSE. A significant group continue to a Philosophy and Ethics course at A level.
