We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, committed graduate to play a full role in the department and teach PE through Years 7 - 13. The successful candidate will specialise in coaching Rugby with good coaching knowledge of other sports. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and be responsible for the rugby programme in an experienced and successful Department for Sport and to work with our pupils who regularly compete at County, Regional and National level.

Ashford School has recently benefitted from significant investment in sports facilities and work on a modern pavilion is already underway to be completed by April 2019. This recent investment in facilities has been supported by a similar investment in staff. The large department of PE specialists is supplemented with external coaches, many of which have or currently play at the highest level.

Applications are invited from graduates with the qualifications and sufficient experience to enhance Ashford School’s growing reputation for sporting inclusivity and excellence. The successful candidate would be expected to organise a full fixture list and have overall responsibility for the standard of coaching delivered that enables students to progress and reach their full potential.
