Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of School at a specialist SEN School in Bricklehurst.
This is a great opportunity for an inspiring Headteacher to lead on the full set up and opening of our new specialist SEN School in East Sussex.
As Head of School, you will promote a relentless focus on high quality, creative learning, delivering our pupils educational needs, maximising children’s achievement, and their ability to develop.
As Head of School, you will have an infrastructure of support from central services for finance, resourcing, HR and IT including a network of supportive Head of School/Headteachers from other schools alongside the central school improvement support.
About the role
You will deliver the school vision and ethos, which inspires and motivates pupils, staff and all other members of the school community. This includes core educational values, moral purpose and be inclusive of all stakeholders beliefs and values.
Ensuring that the increasingly complex and diverse needs of the pupils are met in the most appropriate manner through the effective management of the school and its resources.
Take responsibility for the internal organisation, management and control of the school and promoting the wider role of it within the local community
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status of Equivalent
- Willingness to extend personal and professional development
- At least three years' experience as a senior leader in a specialist SEMH school
