The current Head is retiring after nine years of outstanding service. While proud of its many accomplishments and its excellent reputation, the St. Margaret’s community is deeply committed to ensuring that the School continues to stay out in front in a rapidly changing educational environment. St. Margaret’s seeks a new Head of School to continue the focus on excellence and innovation, driving the School forward without losing its sense of family and its focus on each girl as an individual.

The Head of School is accountable to the Board of Governors, and has overall responsibility for the leadership of the School – both academic and administrative.  The new Head of School will be a strong and respected educational leader, with a track record of mentoring and developing faculty, encouraging students, engaging parents, and fostering a dynamic and healthy school community.   They will have significant administrative experience, a respect for the culture and traditions of independent schools, and a commitment to all girls’ education.  Most importantly, the Head of St. Margaret’s School will be an excellent communicator with superb interpersonal skills, and will be a person of unassailable integrity and character.
