A pioneering and charismatic leader is sought for the role of Head of School at Sherfield School, Hampshire, an independent co-educational day and boarding school offering an exciting, all-round education from Nursery to Sixth Form. Sherfield has a forward-thinking and ambitious approach to learning which enables its pupils to transition into confident, well-rounded young adults. Sherfield School is set in 74 acres of stunning grounds including a lake and woodlands. The school has some good facilities and has recently benefitted from a programme of enhancement, including a new state of the art boarding facility. There are plans for further opportunities to expand and develop the site over the coming years.

Our recent A-Level results have seen us highlighted in a Telegraph article as the fourth highest achieving small independent boarding school. This reflects our commitment to providing the highest quality education to our pupils and our willingness to continue to develop innovative and creative curriculum offers that enhance learning. We are seeking an ambitious leader that can rise to the challenge of driving forward and delivering on our education vision.

The new Head of School will lead with integrity, humour and have the drive to maximise the potential of Sherfield School. We are seeking a leader that can motivate staff and nurture and develop talent in all areas. You will require strong business acumen and a pioneering attitude, to work with the owners to enhance its position in independent education landscape.
