About ACS Hillingdon International School

Four schools, one world-class education.

Founded in 1967 to serve the needs of global and local families, ACS International Schools educate over 3,700 students, aged 2 to 18, day and boarding, from more than 100 countries. Our schools – 3 in Greater London and 1 in Doha, Qatar – are all non-sectarian and co-educational.

Our academic programme

All ACS campuses are International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools, offering the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). In addition, ACS Egham is one of only three schools in the UK to also offer and the IB Middle Years Programme (IBMYP), and the IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP).

All ACS campuses offer an American High School Diploma, with ACS Cobham and ACS Hillingdon also teaching prestigious Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

ACS graduates attend leading universities around the world including: Cambridge, Imperial College London, London School of Economics, and Oxford in the UK; Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, and Yale in the US; and McGill, Stockholm School of Economics, University of Oslo, Delft University of Technology, University of Tokyo, and Keio from the rest of the world.

Language support for our international communities

English as an Additional Language (EAL) is taught throughout the schools.
Native Language Enrichment (NLE) programmes are offered in over 12 languages.
State-of-the-art facilities in stately surroundings.
Our campuses set the quality benchmark standard for school facilities and grounds.
ACS’s robust programme of development and renewal has invested over £45 million into campus facilities over the past ten years.
Each campus is built around a spacious period estate, enhanced by modern, purpose-built classrooms, libraries, cafeterias, and sports facilities.

Transition and housing support for incoming families

The campuses are situated approximately 30 minutes by rail and/or road from central London.
Campus area housing is up to 50% less expensive than central London locations.
On-site Housing Officers assist families and relocation agents in finding the ideal home.
Each school operates an extensive door-to-door busing service.
Admissions Officers are knowledgeable in both academic and relocation issues.
Well-established parent communities provide extensive support and transition assistance to incoming families.
