Located in a modern building, Churchill Park School, is an Ofsted Good, all through mixed special school, catering for children and young people of West Norfolk with complex needs. We currently have 215 students on roll
Following the successful appointment of our current Head to the position of CEO of KWEST we are now seeking a Head of School who is committed and ambitious to continue to take school forward from a good to outstanding provision.
Reporting to the CEO, you will:-
- Provide inspirational and motivational leadership across the school
- Work closely with the MAT, staff and all key stakeholders to develop and communicate a shared vision that expresses the core values of the school and MAT
- Monitor practice, manage performance and continuously improve the quality of teaching and learning across the school
- Continue to develop a creative curriculum offer that meets the needs of all pupils
- Manage relationships with staff, parents, carers, trust partners, the local authority and the wider community
Currently either a headteacher or an experienced and successful deputy, you are an enthusiastic and inspirational leader, with high standards and the drive and ambition to build on our achievements and propel us onto further greater things.
You have an extensive knowledge and experience of working with children with special educational needs, with highly creative and innovative approaches to learning. An effective people manager and reflective practitioner, who is not afraid to challenge when required, a decision maker, prepared to listen and empower others. A confident decision maker with the emotional intelligence and good humour to take others with you.
