Disciplines include Art and Design, Music, Sport, Hairdressing, Beauty, Catering and Public Services. In addition the school has a new Spa Therapies provision as part of its Beauty offer and runs a Foundation degree in Games Art and Design. The Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone serves approximately 1700 learners, around 1500 of which study on full-time programmes. The department has a team of approximately 30 staff who deliver across the School.

We are seeking to appoint a Head of School to lead this important area and provide direct line management to the School. In return, the College offers many employment benefits including generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and many on-site benefits and facilities. You will join a college that is ambitious, purposeful, committed and supportive. With good transport links, our campuses are set within reach of some of the most beautiful countryside in South Wales. If you want to make a difference, this is the place to do it.
