Head of Laxton Junior School

We are seeking an inspirational leader to succeed Mark Potter as Head of Laxton Junior School, on his appointment as Head of Junior School at the British School of Paris.

Laxton Junior School is a day school of c250 pupils from Reception to Year 6. There are 26 members of the teaching staff and 14 support staff, with additional sports coaches and music teachers. It is situated in the market town of Oundle and forms part of the Corporation of Oundle School, which provides Bursarial support and Governance. 

Laxton Junior School has enjoyed very considerable success over recent years and the opportunity exists for the right person to build strongly on these excellent foundations.

Ideally the new Head will start in January 2018, however an April 2018 start would be considered for the right candidate.

Laxton Junior School is an independent, co-educational day school, with 260 children aged 4 to 11, in the beautiful market town of Oundle. We are part of The Corporation of Oundle School and, therefore, as stated by The Corporation’s Royal Charter, our object is to provide to our children an education of the very highest class.
