Job overview
Hampton Gardens is a new 11-19 free school which will open in September 2017 to an initial intake of 180 Year 7 students. When at full capacity the school will accommodate 1200 students in years 7-11 and 300 Student in Sixth Form.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and resilient person, who will be a highly visible leader and the public face of the new school. The role encompasses many of the duties of a traditional secondary headship, but will also function within our innovative cross-phase and multi-academy trust structure. As the leader of this new free school, community liaison and pupil recruitment will be important focuses in the opening years, as will establishing Outstanding teaching and learning from the outset.
