This is an exciting opportunity to join our outstanding leadership team in this forward thinking Trust who are leaders in the area of excellent SEND practice.

Astrum Multi Academy Trust was formed in August 2017 and is an outstanding provider for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties aged 2-19, including learners who have additional needs such ASD, medical difficulties, sensory impairments and associated behaviour. The Trust has Newbridge Lower School in Gresham Drive for pupils between the ages of 2 and 11 and Newbridge Upper School in Barley Lane for those aged 11 to 19.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Head of Upper School from September 2018:

• who has proven leadership and management skills at a senior level in an educational setting
• who will provide professional leadership and management which ensures the effective day to day organisation of the school, a high quality of education for all pupils and continually improving standards of teaching and learning
• who can work in partnership with the Executive Headteacher, School Senior Leadership Team, Trust Board, local Governing Body and other stakeholders to create a clear vision, direction and operational framework for the school
• who can take a lead role in SEMH, Behaviour and Safety and wellbeing across the Trusts schools.
