Established in 1867, The Bishop Strachan School (BSS) is the oldest girls’ day and boarding school in the country, with a well-earned reputation as one of Canada’s most prestigious and respected independent schools. BSS has long been a trailblazer in the education of girls, and an important influence on the changing attitudes that have revolutionized women’s participation at all levels of society. Full-time position requiring relevant educational credentials such as undergraduate degree and teaching qualification and/or Master’s degree.

Qualifications/accountabilities: experience sufficient to lead a day/boarding school with 200+ faculty and staff. Responsibilities include reporting to the Board as the educational and operational leader of the school, providing strategic, team and budget leadership/management.
