CIS Armenia International School is seeking a Head of School to lead us forward into the next stage of our development. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our growing school in the next phase of its educational journey.

 CIS Armenia is the leading international school in Armenia, providing an exceptional education based on the Cambridge Curriculum for the children in our care. We employ a talented team of fully qualified expatriate teachers, qualified local teachers and local associate teachers to deliver a comprehensive and well-rounded educational programme.

Learning at CIS Armenia begins with Foundation Stage One in our well-resourced Early Years department and our building currently hosts Primary and Secondary classes up to Year 13. We are a young school; this is our sixth year, however, we are ambitious and committed to providing continuous improvement for our students and our school community. The next phase of our development will be a move into larger premises where we can continue to enhance and expand our resources and facilities. We aim to provide an outstanding learning environment for our students from Early Years, through Primary, into Secondary and as they undertake their IGCSE and A Level Programme courses.

Qualifications preferred for the new Head of School at CIS Armenia:

• Advanced degree in educational leadership

• A proven record of educational leadership

• Ability to recruit, retain, and develop strong teachers

• Experience in budget management

• Outstanding leadership abilities in motivating, inspiring and challenging both staff and students in order to strengthen and promote the mission and to bring to life the values of CIS Armenia International School

• The ability to nurture and extend the collaboration and partnership between students, staff, board members, parents, and the wider community

• A commitment to child protection and safety
