The Post

• The school is looking for an exceptional current or aspiring Head of Science who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.   

• You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of students, instilling in them a love of learning.

• The candidate should be dynamic, inspiring and ready to lead this core subject in this large, popular and outstanding Department with an established record of success. 

• The department offers GCSE Combined Science and Triple Award, A Levels in biology, chemistry and physics as well as CTEC Science

Our School

We are a high achieving 11 -18 school with very good examination results.  We have received an Educational Outcomes award for being in the top 20 percent of schools in the country for progress.
