We are looking for an innovative teacher to lead the Science Department at Manshead School. The Science department teaches across all key stages and has a thriving extra-curricular programme.
This is an exciting opportunity at an improving 11-18 Church of England school that has undergone transformational change in the last year. This year we expect to achieve our best ever results.

About Manshead School
Manshead CE Academy is a mixed Church of England secondary school with a sixth form, located in Caddington, Bedfordshire. This Academy accommodates 1,250 students aged 11-18.
Manshead CE Academy is the modern successor to Dunstable Grammar School. The latter was founded in 1891 and adopted the comprehensive system in 1971. The school officially became a full secondary in 2014 when it began taking 11-year-old students. Manshead is a member of the Diocese of St Albans Multi Academy Trust.

Manshead CE Academy specialises in maths, but also develops pupils’ creative sides through music, PE, dance, social sciences, ethics and drama. The Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme is offered at Bronze (Year 10), Silver (Year 11) and Gold (sixth form) levels.
