We are looking to appoint an inspirational science teacher to lead our successful science faculty at Cromwell Community College.
We are a successful, oversubscribed school with a rising roll. The science faculty is large and offers successful courses at GCSE, A-level and BTEC. Results in science are on an upward trend and we are looking for an innovative and inspiring leader to continue those achievements. The successful candidate will have the support of an experienced and dedicated team of teachers and a well-equipped and resourced faculty.

About Cromwell Community College
Cromwell Community College is a co-educational secondary school located in the market town of Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. It educates around 1,100 pupils aged 11-18. The school became a comprehensive in 1969 and converted to academy status in 2012.
Over the years, Cromwell Community College has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation, with the most recent project completed in 2012. The school has its own sixth form, with dedicated facilities and study areas for post-16 students.

“Pupils enjoy a wide choice of subjects suited to their abilities and interests. The most able pupils are steered towards three sciences, humanities and foreign languages to enable more of them to gain the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) qualification. A small proportion of less-able pupils follow a curriculum matched to their needs and abilities in order to develop their literacy and numeracy, promote their social skills and study qualifications suited to the workplace.”
