Job overview

Candidates should be well-qualified scientists who are able to teach Biology or Chemistry up to A Level. Science is taught as an interdisciplinary subject in Key Stage 3. Teachers teach their own specialisms in Key Stage 4 and 5. A higher TLR will be attached to this role if the successful candidate is a Biologist and prepared to lead the Biology Department.

Established in 1549 by Royal Charter, Maidstone Grammar School is a selective school for boys, with girls admitted in the Sixth Form.
