We are seeking a middle leader who has the drive, commitment and creativity to ensure all students are engaged and challenged across all sciences.  The Science department is well established and very successful at every level. All students study Science in all key stages.  At IGCSE level, all students either study for the double or triple award depending on interest and ability while at IB Diploma level students can opt for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Societies and Systems and Sports Education, Health and Society. The department is well resourced and equipped.

A broad skill base in the sciences, as well as strong leadership and management, is essential.  The ability to teach Physics at IB higher level would be desirable.  The ideal candidate will have a clear vision for promoting the subject and inspiring students.  The candidate will also be able to demonstrate strategic planning and have sound interpersonal skills.  This is an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to build on past successes and demonstrate initiative and creativity.
