Head of Science

Smart Teachers is recruiting for a highly experienced secondary school Science teacher to lead the faculty in a full-time capacity from January 2017. The role is for a highly reputable independent school in Tasmania, Australia. This initial 12-month contract could eventually become a permanent role for the successful applicant.

About You:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

• Have a visa to work in Australia
• Possess the minimum relevant tertiary qualifications– Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
• Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Teachers Registration Board Tasmania
• Be willing to contribute to co-curricular life and the school community
• Must be respectful of the school values and ethos
• Be able to provide three reference details and police clearances
