Due to the development of our leadership structure, as our school continues to grow, we have an exciting new post available.

The Role:

We are looking for a Head of Secondary who will be responsible for leading both the ENC and MOE teams from Year 7 to Year 13. This is a new post and a hugely exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced leader to join the ICS City Centre team to continue on our journey towards excellence. 

Candidates should: 

  • have at least five years experience within UK national curriculum schools. 
  • be an experienced leader (minimum 4 years). 
  • be familiar with GCSE and A Level curriculums and systems 
  •  demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development for themselves and to support and develop others. 
  • show excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence

The successful candidate will also be expected to:   

  • lead improvement for all pupils in their care 
  • take responsibility for day to day management of the secondary blocks and ensure pupils and staff work towards our shared goals.  
  • support the leadership and management teams in determining and developing the long-term strategic development of the school as a member of the senior leadership team.   
  • monitor and evaluate the curriculum in order to identify and act on areas for improvement.

International Community School – City Centre Branch currently has 1460 children on our register from Foundation Stage through to Year 12. We have a brand new, state of the art building, which includes plenty of space for sports, specialist labs for Science and Computing, Art, DT and Food Technology and an amazing theatre space for the Performing Arts.
