Job overview

The States of Guernsey are looking for a Head of Service for their Communication and Autism Service within Education Services.

In this important role, you will lead and manage the Communication and Autism Support Service and develop the strategic role of the service within the Learning, Performance and Intervention Section of Education Services.

You will also ensure the work of the Communication and Autism Support Service supports the achievement of the aims and objectives of Education Services strategic and operational plan, which seeks to provide equality of educational opportunity and high achievement for all children and young people.

This post carries an eight-year employment permit. If appointed, you can also expect to:
