Head Teacher

The Hereford Pupil Referral Service provides high quality education for pupils at KS3&4 across 3 sites (St David’s, Aconbury and the H3, derived from the old hospital school model) in the beautiful Cathedral City of Hereford. Our task is to re-engage some of the most vulnerable learners across the county. https://www.hprs.hereford.sch.uk/

The Head Teacher will be responsible for all 3 sites across the following key criteria:

  1. Teaching and Learning
  2. Strategic Development of the School
  3. Leading and Managing Staff
  4. Efficient and Effective Deployment of Staff and Resources
  5. Accountability; to pupils, staff, parents and authorities
  6. Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment

 

HPRS is looking for an excellent communicator, with the ability to lead and inspire and secure the highest standards of teaching and learning, with the pupils at the heart of everything they do.

-       At least 3 years experience as a senior leader

-       Qualified teacher status or equivalent

-       Experience of working with vulnerable children
